This March Bitcoin price experienced a steady downfall. After reaching the highest price since the end of January at $11,565, at the beginning of the month, the price of Bitcoin started its decline. If you exclude a couple of bumps in the middle of March, the price faced a constant decrease and finished the month with $6,935, a 40% decrease in comparison to the beginning of the month.
Unlike the price downward trajectory, the number of new machines continues to grow.

The trend of steady growth of new machines continues in March, as it recorded the highest growth this year, beating January and February. We should highlight that Net Growth almost doubled in comparison to January when it was +128.

Operators who increased the number of machines by 3 or more over the past month:
No changes at the top of the list, CoinCloud retained the top spot with 25 new installations which increased their machines number by 24%. Canadian operator LocalCoin recorded the biggest growth so far this year (50%) by adding 19 machines. Illinois based operator GetCoins installed their first 16 machines this month which granted them the third spot, which they shared with Pay Depot LLC, also with 16 installations. Coinsource was on the fourth spot this month with 14 new machines (8.6% increase), followed by CoinFlip and Bitstop with 12 and 11 new locations respectively. The trend of mostly US-based companies topping the list continues in March with exclusion of LocalCoin.
Other non-US operators that can be mentioned this month should be Prague based General Bytes Services s.r.o., which is a sister company of bitcoin machine producer General Bytes s.r.o., which added 10 new machines and increased their numbers by 142,9%. Another Canadian company Instacoin increased its network by 7 machines, making a total of 80 machines operated within their network.

United States of America continues to dominate this list in every aspect, with Canada constantly following. Austria continues to be the highest-ranked country outside North America after it took that place from the United Kingdom in February with a recorded increase by 13 machines this month. The Czech Republic recorded the same number of new machines which was a 48,1 % increase and earned the fourth spot in March. It is a pleasant fact that almost every month there are installations of bitcoin ATMs in countries, where no machines were present before. In March these countries were: Georgia, San Marino, and Djibouti.

Altcoin support saw the following increases over the past two months:
The number of machines that support at least one type of altcoin continues to grow steadily this year and reached the number of 49% in March. Ether again recorded a valuable increase. It was added at 179 machines which is an increase of 34,4%, but they are still below Litecoin as a most supported altcoin as of today, which recorded increase of 18,1% by being added at 189 new machines. Bitcoin Cash continues to get added on many machines (+130 in March). Monero has been added on 19 machines (633.3%).
The cryptocurrency market continued to be extremely volatile this year. In February prices were recovering after sharp fall in January, while in March the situation changed, and they entered the period of constant decrease. Either way, these fluctuations did not prevent the continuous increase in cryptocurrency machines installations in March. More and more ATMs are installed every month which is a trend that we could expect this year, along with the increasing support for a greater number of altcoins as time goes by.
