On December 7, CoinGate CEO Dmitrijus is going to visit St. Julian’s. There, Smile-Expo hosts yet another event – Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Malta – for entrepreneurs, investors, consultants and IT specialists working in the emerging industry of digital currencies.
We believe that to Malta and its particular industries, cryptocurrency adoption should soon become a key driver for further growth. And so we are happy to hear that Malta’s Minister of Finance Press Secretary Silvio Schembri will open the conference. The Minister will speak about how such events can influence the national strategy of blockchain development in Malta.
Other speakers at the event will be investors, analysts, financial and legal experts, blockchain developers, representatives of startups and ICOs. Some notable participants include partners from GTG Advocates and GANADO Advocates, and the Managing Partner at EY Central and South East Europe, Ronald Attard.
The key topic of the conference is legislation and regulation in the blockchain field; a panel discussion will be hosted to address relevant issues. In addition, the conference will cover some other themes as well: cryptocurrency industry in Malta, DCO and smart contracts, challenges of intellectual property, decentralized economy and its global role.
The Government of Malta was one of the first in Europe to announce the introduction of blockchain into state programs. Malta’s Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has stated that digital currency should be introduced at the state and the European Union levels. However, business representatives and investors still have a lot of questions about the new technology. With the goal to find the answers, Smile-Expo organizes a conference in St. Julian’s and we are looking forward to gaining and sharing insights there!
Smile-Expo has already held more than 10 large blockchain events. The Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Malta is a part of their conference network around the world (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kyiv, Tallinn, Stockholm, and other cities).
